My dad is the best because he is my hero and my ultimate idol.
My father is my hero not because he has saved me from danger or have done greater things for me. His heroism is shown by his daily actions he have done to us. And one of the most unforgettable one he did to me is during one of the saddest part of my life: when I was not able to maintain my scholarship way back in college. Yes, during that time, my world turned upside down, cried so hard and didn't know what to do. But my father who know my capability did not ridicule me, instead cried with me (Yes, he cried, it was the first time I saw him cried). He did not abandon me, he was just there beside me, assured me to move on and said something that we will find ways just for me to finish my college education. Currently, I'm now a successful bank officer. Thanks to what my father (and also my mother) did to me in order to reach what I have achieved now. He is definitely my hero who saved my future.
Moreover, my father is my idol because he can do different kinds of job despite not finishing a college education. Imagine how we saved a lot of expenses because he acts as our all-around houseboy. He is our chef, cartoonist/artist, basketball coach, plumber, etc. You read it write, this is not an exaggeration but it's true that my father knows different types of job despite not finishing a college education. For some, he was the most silent type of a person but in our home, he is our poptastic dad who can wow you with his hidden talents. Who wouldn't be more awed by him when you learned that he is a father of seven 'makukulit' boys yet he raised us well, taught us gow to respect the elders and instilled to us the love, faith and hope to the Almighty God. He is also one of the rarest species: a loyal and faithful wife to our mother, being together for more than 30 years already. My father may not be perfect, but he saved the dignity of our family. For us his seven sons, whom he raised into righteous persons and have strong faith to God, our father is the best.
